do you remember the nickelodeon worldwide day of play? i remember it fondly... whether or not you'd actually play or just switch to disney channel doesn't matter too much i guess, but i really like the idea of shutting down The Party™ once a week. to get myself to stop fiddling with this thing every day, but also for any potential visitors to take a break for the web every now and then. the internet is a fun place to be, but i also find the idea of little ol' me telling you to go outside very amusing. i guess i'm trying to bring a sense of tangible reality into my digital home by limiting it's access, in a sense? it's not the end of the world if you stumble upon my site and see that you gotta wait until tomorrow to access. what happened to the art of waiting?
anyways, i've had this zz plant (i think!) for about three years now and i'll be honest. i don't know how to care for this thing. i water it when it needs to, but i haven't repotted it.. at all... but it's still alive! i hadn't given up on it, but i was weary of it's survival until i noticed this new sprout growing in strong! which has inspired a new hope in my plant care abilities. so i will definitely be repotting it this spring. sorry zz, i will take better care of you moving forward...
